We took Kate to the Gateway Mall fountains and she absolutely loved them! She fearlessly ran and played in them with all the other "big kids"!!!

Kate's one year birthday party! We celebrated Kate's birthday at our home 2 days after we returned from Italy, we were all a little jetlag but it turned out great. Thanks to friends and family for all her darling gifts! She loves them!

Our wonderful Italian vacation!

In July, our family spent 2 weeks in beautiful Italy! Here is the villa that we stayed at in Lucca, Tuscany. We were a little worried about Kate in Europe but she did great! She actually started walking for the first time on July 19th while in Italy, 10 days before her 1st birthday!

This was our amazing chef Jean Carlos...his food was the most amazing food we had all ever tasted. He actually has his own cooking show and it's coming to American TV this January!

Tom hiking the Cinque Terra. This hike is probably our favorite thing to do in Italy (besides eating of course)! It is a 5 mile hike along the Mediterranean coast. Within the 5 miles, you go through 4 charming Italian towns. This was Tom's third time doing the hike, and my second time. This was the highlight of our Italy trip that Tom and I took 3 years ago as well. We highly recommend it!

One of our family's favorite things to do is boating! Here we are at Jordanelle on my dad's boat. Poor little (or should I say big) Kate, her cheeks were to chubby for her life jacket! She still managed to smile though!
